Socio-Economic Programmes:
1. Cham Sugar School
- LKG to X Std
- Total no. of Students - 800
- Recipient of Awards & Honours for toppers in the district Level
- Only English Medium School in the Taluk
- Over 95% Passing rate for the past Eleven Years
- Many Doctors and Engineers are Alumni of this School.
2. School Buildings
- Financial assistance for construction of classrooms and libraries in Government Schools of Annur and Melahalli Villages and in other cane supply areas.
- Sponsoring various cultural activities in their schools.
3. Temples
- Assistance for construction of temples in cane supplies area.
- Various religious functions are sponsored.
- We constructed one of the Towers in famous Shiva Temple nearby.
4. Loan to Farmers
- Loan for education, marriage, medical needs, irrigation etc.
- Crop loans are arranged from banks under tri procreate agreement
5. Roads
- Facilitated development of rural roads around the factory area by utilizing road cess collected by the Govt.
6. Lighting
- Company has provided streetlights outside factory area & main roads.
End Note
Our Management and Group Companies have been generously donating funds and providing assistance in Engineering and Construction for infrastructure upliftment of the surrounding villages for the past 30 years. Children from a number of villages have received quality education and attained higher degrees with the assistance from the Company, which otherwise would have not been possible.
